Accessible by boat, Cistern Point is a shallow diving spot located on the western side of Copper Island, at a 2 minute boat ride from Cooper Island. The underwater topography includes craters, ledges and rocky formations that hide small fish and marine creatures.

You will have the chance to spot shrimps, blue tangs, queen angelfish, damselfish, snappers, grunts, sergeant majors, chromis, wrasse, goatfish, anemones, silvery fry, tarpon, turtles, southern stingray, moray eels and nurse sharks.

The coral reef coats the rocks and the sandy bottom, with colorful corals and whimsical sea fans. Explore these shallow waters and get the glimpse of the vivid fish and interesting marine architecture that is worth of being immortalized on camera.

Cistern Point is a rather more private diving site as many people opt for nearby sites like RMS Rhone or Painted Walls, but if you want to snorkel without having many other people around you, this place is a great option.
