Blackbeard’s is located northeast of Dead Chest Island and it’s situated at a 12 minutes boat ride from Virgin Gorda, the third largest city of the British Virgin Islands.
Brain, sheet and stars corals, large sea fans and flowing water plants cover the rocky formations and the sandy bottom. This reef has a huge potential, with marine life, both big and small burrowing all around the corals so make time to thoroughly explore all the crevices where these creatures might be hiding.
Puffer fish, filefish, chub, large snappers, redmullets, goatfish, grunts, damselfish, squirrelfish, jawfish and barracuda populate these clear waters, with a 30 feet visibility on the northern side, which allows you to spot all the marine life that’s around you.
