BVI Dive Map
The Playground is a diving site located east of Green Cay West; this is a 14 acres uninhabited island on the East of Little Jost Van Dyke and accessible by boat. Angel fish, parrot fish, dog snappers, reef squids, manta rays, reef sharks, tarpons, glassy minnows, these are just some of the marine life you will encounter in this rightfully called so diving site.
The bottom of the ocean is covered in corals and gorgonians and the visibility is generally good. On the north side you will see exciting pinnacles enveloped by vibrantly colored sponges, hydroid fans and corals, which are home to fascinating saltwater species.
South of Green Cay West is Sandy Spit, a remote islet, half an acre in size, another great destination for snorkeling and sunbathing, especially if you want a more secluded place.
The wildness, the crystal clear waters and the abundance of underwater species portray The Playground as a wonderful tropical holiday destination.
