You will find West Seal Dog between Tortola and Virgin Gorda; this uninhabited islet is part of Dog Islands, along with Great Dog Island, George Dog Island, East Seal Dog Island and Little Seal Island. Accessible by boat, this volcanic diving site is only at a 15 minutes boat ride from Spanish Town and since 1974 it’s a national park.
The caves, ledges and various rocky formations are covered with colorful sponges and corals; they provide a sheltering home to many underwater creatures that hide in all the crevices.
Marine life is flourishing here so don’t forget to bring your camera along to capture the beautiful sceneries this site has to offer. The visibility is close to excellent except on those days when the weather is a bit more challenging.
West Seal Dog is a more secluded diving site, where you can enjoy swimming along the many species of fish found here without having many fellow divers around you.
